Our services change the lives of children forever and we would love to offer them for free, but the truth is that our work requires significant funding. It costs over $1,000 to support a match for a year. Money is needed to pay for screening volunteers, purchasing supplies, training staff, and performing administrative functions.
Every dollar donated has a significant impact. Our programs produce amazing results for its Littles, making them productive members of the community. Study after study has shown that children in Big Brothers Big Sisters' programs do better in school, get along better with others, and are more likely to avoid drugs/alcohol than kids not enrolled in the programs.
